Rural Meetup is an 18+ dating and meetup app. This page describes what we collect to run accounts, matching, and safety review.

What we collect

• Email address, used to send magic-link sign-in mail and to identify your account.
• Date of birth, used only to confirm you are 18 or older.
• Profile fields: display name, intent, who you hope to meet, travel miles, county, and hide-from-own-county.
• Photos you upload for your profile. Age check for messaging uses date-of-birth attestation; staff may also hold ID photos if submitted for review.
• Messages, blocks, and reports you send or receive.
• A session cookie so you stay signed in.

How it is used

Profile data and approved photos power browse for other members in overlapping travel range. Messaging unlocks after you attest to your date of birth on Age check. Any ID photos staff review stay in the admin queue and are not shown on browse. We do not sell your information. Magic-link mail is sent from our email provider.
