How Rural Meetup works

1. Intent

Say what you want: a relationship, something casual or FWB, or a lifestyle match. Clear beats mixed signals when the next person is an hour down the road.

2. Travel radius

Set how far you will actually drive. Matches follow that radius. You are not stuck with whoever lives on the next gravel road if you would drive farther for the right fit.

3. Hide from your own county

Optional. Use it when you do not want people you already see around town to find you first.

Joining

1. Go to Join and enter your email and date of birth.
2. Accept the Terms and Guidelines.
3. We send a one-time sign-in link (magic link).
4. You must be 18 or older — we will not create an account if you are under 18.
5. Set intent, radius, and county-hide preferences before you browse.

Messaging and meeting

Age check is required before the first direct message. If you meet in person, treat it like any stranger meetup: public place, your own ride, tell someone where you are going. Read Safety.
